ABOUT
I’m a sound designer and sound recordist / production sound mixer working for broadcast and cinema presentation. I have worked for BBC, Channel 4, Discovery Channel, Netflix, PBS, Comedy Central, Sony, BMG, Decca, Channel 5 and production companies such as BBC, Somethin’ Else, Lion TV, Blakeway, Maya, Serious Pictures, 2am. My feature film work has been heard in most major film festivals including Sundance, Venice, SxSW, BFI London Film Festival, NYC Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), Raindance, Sheffield Doc Fest and BAFTA. I’m also a member of BAFTA Connect.
My professional experience in audio started in the music industry in the noughties working with Kylie, Girls Aloud, Jason Donovan and Natalie Umbruglia whilst working in the studio with song writer Pascal Gabriel and also with producers The Beatmasters. I went on to head up the engineering at the Vault studio in Shoreditch specialising in UK hiphop. In a stint of live engineering I worked with Portico Quartet, Roger Eno and The Necks. Throughout this time I was also performing my own improvised electronic music and releasing music on various record labels, at the same time as playing in multiple bands such as with Massive Attack’s singer Nicolette whilst we toured Europe.
I have the experience, if appropriate for your project, to take on projects from sound planning at the script stage through to final delivery: from the production sound recording to sound design and mix through to broadcast delivery. I’m equally comfortable working in a team ensuring the highest sonic standards are met through the post sound process. I’m creative, resourceful, dependable and flexible.
