Documentary about following Tom Daley as he travels to the most homophobic places around the Commonwealth and asks what the sporting world can do to help.
In over half the countries in the Commonwealth, it’s illegal to be gay with punishments including whipping, life imprisonment and even the death penalty. Tom meets athletes from countries with homophobic laws – including Pakistan, Nigeria and Jamaica – to hear their stories. The film culminates with a historic moment of solidarity and visibility in the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony in which Tom flies the Progress Pride flag surrounded by six LGBT+ advocates from around the Commonwealth.
